We Are Project Indigo

“The film documents the young members of Project Indigo with artist Liv Wynter creating the exhibition ‘From Bedroom to Battleground’. They share their personal stories, worries, hopes and dreams. By doing so, they hope they can help to teach people what it’s like to be young and LGBTQI+ in Hackney”

The project was possible thanks to funds raised by world-renown street artist Stik through the auction of his iconic ‘Hackney Pride Banner’.

Project Indigo is a local LGBTQI+ youth group run by Off Centre, a young people’s mental health and wellbeing charity.

This film was produced for the exhibition ‘From Bedroom to Battleground’ at Hackney Museum 1 February – 5 May 2018
